Progress 47 Redocks to ISS

Progress 47 redocked to the International Space Station on July 28, 2012, after completing tests of an upgraded rendezvous system. The spacecraft will undock on July 30 and spend the following couple of weeks in the vicinity of the station in order to complete more tests.

On July 22, 2012, a Soyuz-FG/Fregat launch vehicle placed in orbit five satellites: Canopus-B and Zond-PP (Russia), BCA (Belarus), TET-1 (Germany), and ADS-1 (Canada).

Progress 47 cargo spacecraft, filled with trash for disposal, undocked from the International Space Station on July 22, 2012. During the following two days, Russian engineers will test a new automated rendezvous system, known as Kurs-NA.
