Rockot carried to orbit two new ESA satellites: SMOS and PROBA-2.<\/p>\n<p>The Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity (SMOS) mission <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/orbitalhub.com\/?v=47\">will provide global maps of moisture over the Earth\u2019s landmasses and salinity over the oceans<\/a>. PROBA-2 is a mission dedicated to the demonstration of innovative technologies.
